Watcher Week 01
This is my first week in the Mac Lab. This Week I have given it my all by completing the required section of the quests. I have worked from the beginning bell, as soon as I got into class, and the end bell. This week, I have figured out how to navigate to the POD and the 411 page. The videos on the 411 page are both helpful and useful. In the next week, I would like to continue to understand the assignments and learn how to create images for my digital portfolio. By the end of the year, I would love to have learned to create my own digital art and/or create animation videos that I can enjoy making in the future. I will keep this as my long term goal for now, but I will change and expand it to use it and improve it in the future.
WATCHER WEEK 02
This is my second week in the Mac Lab. This week I have given it my all by completing most of the Adobe Illustrator quests. I have worked from when I got into class till the end bell. While making sure to save my work, I have followed along with the video instructions from the Illustrator Quests and followed along with Mr. Skocko's instructions on how to do certain commands to get me to windows quicker. This week, I have learned how to create my very own desktop picture, and work with Adobe Illustrator "Point Text". Next week, I would love to learn how to do more of the commands and work with Adobe Illustrator to create my very own Gravatar. By the end of the year, I would love to have learned to create my own digital art and/or create animation videos that I can enjoy making in the future. I believe I will learn new and exciting things, and that the videos provided on the Mac Lab will help me exceed my goals.
WATCHER WEEK 03
This is my third week in the Mac Lab. This week I was sick for 3 days, (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) but I managed to get the top 5 required quests done. Since I was sick, and I wasn't able to be in class, I would give myself a A/B, since I sort of had an off week (Being sick and all). I still did my best to understand what was going on in the class around me even while I was sick at home. While I was sick, I watched all the videos and I was able to do most of the classwork that we had. Over all the days, I was mostly resting, but when I got up I completed all the necessary quests. Next week, I would love to be healed from sickness and be able to create my gravatar and understand the class even better. By the end of the year, I would love to have learned to create my own digital art and/or create animation videos that I can enjoy making in the future. I believe I will learn new and exciting things, and that the videos provided on the Mac Lab will help me exceed my goals.
WATCHER WEEK 04
This is my fourth week in the Mac Lab. This week, we learned how to edit images in Adobe Photoshop, and how to place text onto the images in Adobe Illustrator. I would give myself an A, because since we had a holiday on Monday, I have learned the early bird 4 our of 5 days this week, and I have worked my hardest to figure out how to work along with the videos properly. I watched all the videos, and when the internet was down on Friday, I continued to work on my poster in Adobe Illustrator and watched Friday's video at home. This week, I have figured out how to add an image I created earlier this week for the poster (Image listed Below). I succeeded in following along this week with the videos and learning how to use Adobe Photoshop to my advantage. For my fails this week, I was stumped on how to change the logo color, though I will soon figure out how to push through that problem. I am continuing to work through the Adobe Poster videos and I hope to finish them within the next week or the due date. For my long term goal, I would love to learn how to create wonderful images and/or animations that I can enjoy making in the future. I believe I will learn new and exciting things, and that the videos provided on the Mac Lab will help me exceed my goals.

WATCHER WEEK 05
This week is my 5th week in the Mac Lab. This week, I finished my posters, and I will continue to perfect them till the due date. I have earned the early bird 4 out of 5 days this week, and I have worked my hardest to figure out all the tricks and learn the short commands for certain things in Adobe. An example of a short command is: Shift + Command + S. This shortcut is used to save an image or document and have the ability to place it into a specific folder and/or rename it. This week, I succeeded in solving last week's fail by following the steps again and again to figure out what was the problem. For my fails this week, I regret not doing the Fall Concert quest, since I was engulfed in the posters for the Julius Caesar play. Another fail for this week is my assessment. I recieved a D, even though I worked my hardest, because I did not learn the end of the bell "Bell to bell" award. I know, though, that I will have more opportunities in the future to do more quests like that one, or similar. Next week, I will continue to revise my posters till the due date. Hopefully I will learn to create my own logo for the logo quest as well. By the end of the year, for my long term goal, I would love to have learned how to create striking images and/or animations that I can enjoy making in the future. I believe I will learn new and exciting things, and that the videos provided on the Mac Lab will help me exceed my goals. Below I have shown one image I am proud of, since the posters are not a .jpg.

WATCHER WEEK 06
Week 06 In Review: This week, we we're given the task to create Buttons and/or Posters from the Banned Books Week. I decided to focus more on the buttons, and with the new videos Mr. Skocko posted, I was able to create some really cool button backgrounds. I succeeded in the mac lab by following his instructions and getting creative on Adobe Illustrator. This week I got 5 Bell to Bell's, and I reached Lvl 13 in the mac lab. For my fails this week, I wasn't able to get myself back into the green from Last Week's Self Assessment. For my Self Assessment this week, I have received an A with "4 or More Bell to Bell's", and No HW Passes or Reapers Rewards. :D
Self Guided Learning: I did not rely on any other links other than the mac lab website and Mr. Skocko's informative videos (Which are also on the Mac Lab Website).
Short Term Goal: Next Week, I hope to get more Early Bird and Bell to Bells at the appropriate times like I did this week, and maybe I can even learn to create my Gravatar. In my past weeks, I have fulfilled bits and pieces of my short term goals, though long term goal remains the same. Another little short term goal for next week is for me to create a cool looking, eye catching logo.
Long Term Goal: By the End of the Year, I would love to have learned how to create striking images and/or animations that I can enjoy making in the future. I believe I will learn new and exciting things, and that the videos provided on the Mac Lab will help me exceed my goals. Below I have shown the backround for a button I am very proud of, since it reminds me of stained glass.

WATCHER WEEK 07
Week 07 In Review: This week, we got to begin our "Hunters and Healers" routine. The hunters help out by showing the hunted what they did wrong, and help them fix their mistakes in the previous week. The Healers part is just the Hunters helping out and helping your classmates fix their mistakes. If a hunter touches your mouse or keyboard, you can reverse the prize and get healed, while the hunters get the Hunting prize. This week, I was not able to Hunt someone, but I was not Hunted. For my fails this week, I was not able to hunt someone. For my victories this week, I was able to get help from fellow classmates to fix my Illustrator window. Another victory this week was my ability to create some creative and interesting patterns for my own symbols.
Self Assessment: This week for my Self Assessment, I have earned an A for "Giving it my All" and for receiving "4 or more Bell to Bell's" and "No HW passes or Reapers rewards." :D

WATCHER WEEK 08
Week 08 In Review: This week, I worked on 4 main things. The first thing I worked on this week was the Key Club poster. I created what I think is a cool poster with my own creative touch by adding some key logos. The key logos were made with duplicated rectangles and the spyglass stamp found and made in illustrator. Following the Key Club poster, I created a Shoe Drive poster for Key Club. The Shoe Drive poster created a little bump in my path for the shoe design, but I soon smoothed it out as I found the perfect stamps to create a pair of shoes. For the second thing this week, I worked on "Type Connection." Type Connection was added by Mr. Skocko to help us learn how to match fonts together to create a wonderful poster. Type Connection helped me figure out how to match fonts on the Sonoma State University Jersey. I then completed the Rule of Thirds quest. The Rule of Thirds is used by movie makers and photographers around who want to show that a person, animal, plant, or object is the center of the art piece. It can also show who is in charge, and who is more submissive in movie scenes. The Rule of Thirds helped me to notice color codes as well in the movie trailer: "The Interpreter." Lastly, I worked on the SSU volleyball club Jersey. My Jersey pictures a wolf head in the center of the front of the Jersey, with the title and purpose surrounding it in a circle. For my fails this week, I was not able to quickly create a shoe for the Shoe drive. For my victories this week, I got all of the above things to work on. A small victory was that I reached Level 19 :D! My main victory this week was that I was able to begin the Jersey and find a perfect font match.
Self Assessment: This week for my Self Assessment, I have earned an A for having a Well Developed, detailed, gramatical DPE with No Reaper Rewards or Homework Passes. Plus, I have 4 or more Bell to Bell Bonus's.
Self Guided Learning: Aside from using Mr. Skocko's videos, I used the two websites: http://www.sonoma.edu/logos/ and https://www.sonoma.edu/identity-toolkit/official_colors.html for the Jersey logo inspiration, and the color codes. ( If the first link does not show a seawolf head, here is the viewed image: http://www.sonoma.edu/logos/img/shead.png )
Short Term Goal: Next Week, I hope to get more Early Bird and Bell to Bells, and receive an A for effort for the loot I have earned. I also hope to finish, or hopefully advance in the T-shirt creating for the Volleyball Club at the Sonoma State University. In my past weeks, I have fulfilled bits and pieces of my short term goals. Another little short term goal for next week is for me to create a cool looking, eye catching logo and incorporate my patterns and symbols into a bigger project.

WATCHER WEEK 09
Week 09 In Review: This week, I worked on 4 main things. These 4 main things include the Website Poster quest, the Chair Photography quest, the Motion blur quest, and the Sonoma State Jersey. For the Website Poster quest, I was unable to do much other than place the image in a photoshop file and create a copy due to the short internet problems on Wednesday. For the Chair Photography Quest, I was able to edit the chairs with a gaussian blur and bring the blur up to a Darker shade. This quest was fun to play around with and I finally settled on a mix of blurs that made the image have the look of sunset snake scales. For the Motion Blur quest, we took an image from the Photographer Claudio Testa, as we did with the chair image, though this time we blurred it with Motion Blur. This made the image give a haunted look that I thought really looked amazing. I darkened the shades, and it reminded me of the Aurora Borealis, otherwise known as the "Northern Lights." These two quests alone made me leap out of my mind with my ideas and creativity. Finally, for the Sonoma State Jersey quest, I believe I have finally figured out a look that really makes me happy. Last week my image of the wolf had only the outlines, but now it has details that really point to a wolf. For my fails this week, I only regret that I was not able to work on the Website Poster quest a lot due to the other quests I chose to work on. For my victories this week, I was able to figure out that I had the right shape of the wolf eye, (Sonoma State Jersey Wolf) but I had it upside down. Once I flipped the eyes into the right shape, they quickly made the whole image represent a wolf. One small victory this week is that I figured out how to create a light box for my images. :D
Self Assessment: This week for my Self Assessment, I have earned an A for clearly documenting my work with no Reapers Rewards.
Self Guided Learning: Aside from using Mr. Skocko's videos, I used the websites: https://unsplash.com/@claudiotesta and https://designschool.canva.com/blog/25-ways-to-design-an-awesome-poster-and-create-a-buzz-for-your-next-event/ . The website of https://unsplash.com/@claudiotesta is for the Image credit to the Photographer Claudio Testa. For the chairs quest, I was unable to find the exact location on the website, but it was also on the https://unsplash.com/@claudiotesta website.
Short Term Goal: Next Week, I hope to get more Early Bird and Bell to Bells, and receive an A for effort for the loot I have earned. I also hope to finish, or hopefully advance in the T-shirt creating for the Volleyball Club at the Sonoma State University by perhaps filling in the outlines once and for all. In my past weeks, I have fulfilled bits and pieces of my short term goals. Another little short term goal for next week is for me to create a cool looking, eye catching logo to incorporate my patterns and symbols into a bigger project.

WATCHER WEEK 10
Week 10 In Review: This week, I worked on 3 Main things, though I finished and submitted the Winter Concert Poster, Sonoma State Jersey, Key Club Poster, Key Club shoe drive poster, Vocal Music Logo and the BBW Button. As for turning the projects in, I made sure to follow the directions as given in the videos, and claim my loot for participating. I worked on the Winter Concert Poster, and for that I just took an image from https://www.pexels.com , and Tuned it to my liking while following along with the Winter Concert Quest. For the second thing, I finished my Vocal Music Logo. For the third thing that I finished, I am very proud of the Sonoma State Jersey. I've been working on this for more than 2 weeks, and I am glad I didn't miss the due date. I was worried that I had missed it since the date wasn't in the quest. For my fails this week, I struggled with a little while trying to center the Vocal Music Logo, but with Mr. Skocko's help, I was able to center the logo and have the words evenly spaced from the black outline. Another small personal fail was that my Review wasn't as long as the other week's, though I worked hard and documented all my work. For my victories this week, I was able to finish the Winter Concert Poster and the Vocal Music Logo, and I am proud of how they turned out. I am Also glad that I was able to finally finish the Wolf on the Sonoma State Club Volleyball Jersey. For a small victory, I reached Level 25! Woo :D
Self Assessment: This week for my Self Assessment, I have earned an A for clearly documenting my work with no Reapers Rewards, 4 or more Bell to Bells, No gateway Violations and No Homework Passes.

I found some images that helped with the center main logo (Logo on a Logo) By using the two websites: http://www.webweaver.nu/clipart/img/entertainment/music/treble-clef.png And https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f3/Otogakure_Symbol.svg/120px-Otogakure_Symbol.svg.png
Self Guided Learning: Aside from using Mr. Skocko's videos, I used the websites: http://www.webweaver.nu/clipart/img/entertainment/music/treble-clef.png , https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f3/Otogakure_Symbol.svg/120px-Otogakure_Symbol.svg.png , https://www.pexels.com/photo/mountain-glacier-under-cloudy-sky-during-daytime-196665/
Long Term Goal: By the End of the Year, I would love to have learned how to create striking images, animations, and even Jerseys that I can enjoy making in the future. I believe I will learn new and exciting things, and that the videos provided on the Mac Lab will help me take a stride towards my creativity.

WATCHER WEEK 11
Week 11 In Review: This week, I worked on the Scan Lines quest, Smart Screenshots quest, Elegant Formal Sign, and the Multiple Art boards quest. First, for the Scan Lines quest, we learned how to create pixel lines in Photoshop and add them onto an image to create that old Television look. I enjoyed this quest, and found my results were very interesting. ( I used this image for this week's image to show how proud I was of it. ) For the smart Screenshots quest, we learned how to isolate one part of a screenshot, and take a cool screenshot that transported the size of the image to the photoshop or illustrator document size. This was useful, as I can use this in the future to isolate further screenshots of my work, or just parts of a website. For the Elegant Formal Sign, I created a border to go around the edges of the sign and make the colors fit into each sign. I used the Multiple art Boards quest to help me with this project. For the Multiple Art Boards quest, it taught me how to duplicate the art board and everything on it. This helped me give the customer of the Elegant Formal Sign multiple options to chose from. For my victories this week, I was able to purchase my Guild. I chose Form guild, since I enjoy doing the posters and quests like the Scan Lines quest. I was also able to get myself back into the green on my Gold bar! :D With Mr. Skocko's help, I found the Repair Damage to patch up my damage from week 05 when I didn't get bell to bells. For my fails this week, it took me longer to purchase my guild than I thought. I was able to finally purchase it today (Friday) and i'm proud that I did. This week, a small victory, I reached Level 27! ( I owe a huge thanks to Mr. Skocko since I was confused on the matter of the Gold Bar. Thank you Mr. Skocko! :D )
Self Assessment: This week for my Self Assessment, I have earned an A for clearly documenting my work with no Reapers Rewards, 4 or more Bell to Bells, No gateway Violations and No Homework Passes.
Self Guided Learning: Aside from using Mr. Skocko's videos, I used the website:

WATCHER WEEK 12
Week 12 In Review: This week, I worked on 2 MAIN things. The first thing I worked on was the Winter Formal Poster. For the second thing, I worked on the Sonoma State University text. For the Winter Formal, the theme is "Under the Sea." I tried to convey this theme as I drew some fish on the poster to create a message of the theme. I enjoyed this as I was easily able to create an image in my mind of what the poster would look like. This poster was a good way for me to express my creativity. On account to the Sonoma State University Jersey, all of the Contesting designs were rejected. This mildly disappointed me as I was hoping that at least one would be chosen. Now we have to start over again, so it gives me an opportunity to improve my design as best as I can. We are trying a different approach with text this time. This is going to be interesting, and I am looking forward to seeing what they chose. I was able to watch all the videos on the topic of the "Up sampling Quest" and if I have time next week, I will probably switch the background of my Winter Formal Poster. This week, we also watched the first 6 minutes and 40 seconds of the keynote presentation Mr. Skocko went to. This was amazing, and I loved the 3d animation and paint tools they used. For my fails this week, I forgot to log in on Tuesday (Or Monday?) and claim an Early Bird. For my victories this week, I was able to still get my 4 bell to bells + Early Birds, and work productively throughout the week.
Self Assessment: This week for my Self Assessment, I have earned an A for clearly documenting my work with no Reapers Rewards, 4 or more Bell to Bells, No gateway Violations and No Homework Passes.
Self Guided Learning: Aside from using Mr. Skocko's videos, I did not use any other websites this week. (Aside from the Keynote website: http://max.adobe.com/sessions/max-online/ )

WATCHER WEEK 13
Week 13 In Review: This week, I worked on the Color Lookup Primer quest, the Collect and Organize quest, the Re-Imagine poster's quest, and the Don't settle quest. For the Color Lookup Primer quest, we learned how to edit an image, make the image bigger, and fill in the white spots on the image to make it look picture perfect. I used the ocean image to do this quest since I was unable to figure out how to do the turtle version of the image properly. For the Collect and Organize quest, Mr. Skocko taught us about the Bridge application and that you could upload images into it to create stunning backgrounds. For the Re-Imagine poster quest, we learned that we should expand our horizons for poster creating as we learn. This was helpful for me as I will improve my posters in the near future. For the Don't Settle quest, we were taught not to settle for just an image, that there is always a way to make it better. In this quest to make the image better, we learned about the Camera Raw filter. The Camera Raw filter enlightened the image and made it pop. We learned that the Camera Raw filter could darken and brighten our photographs. I haven't finished this quest yet, but I hope to next week to learn more about what Photoshop holds. For my fails this week, I was late due to traffic and unable to claim an Early Bird. For my victories this week, I was able to still get my 3 bell to bells + Early Birds (Since Friday was a holiday), and work productively throughout the week. Level 30! Woot woot! :D
Self Assessment: This week for my Self Assessment, I have earned an A for clearly documenting my work with no Reapers Rewards, 3 or more Bell to Bells (Due to holiday), No gateway Violations and No Homework Passes.
Self Guided Learning: Aside from using Mr. Skocko's videos, I did not use any other websites this week.

WATCHER WEEK 14
Week 14 In Review: This week, I completed 7 quests! The first quest I worked on was the "Original Gravatar" quest. This quest was one of my favorites this week as I got to see how my creativity and imagination formed. I started with an eye coated with feathers, went to a wolf with 4 eyes, an eye growing out of a tree, an octopus, and then settled on a reverse Disco Ball. I chose the reverse Disco ball to express that not everyone is the same, that if you can find what suits you if you keep trying, you can persevere above all. For the second quest, we "Battled Self Doubt." This quest showed a website called "Every Tuesday" where a woman blogs about how to battle Self Doubt and rise to your success. I enjoyed reading this post as it reminded me of the many times I have had Self Doubt and thought that nothing could get better. However, after reading this post, I realized how I was able to overcome that Self Doubt and continue to grow strong in school and everyday life. Then we learned about the "3 Then Me" quest, where Mr. Skocko spoke about when to ask for help. We then learned how to "Get inspired." This quest showed us that anything could lead to inspiration, and that we could use our thoughts on images to inspire us in the future. Mr. Skocko then introduced 2 Challenges, one of which I was very close to getting. The first challenge was called "Wednesday's Challenge." This challenge was for us to replicate two circles, one inside of a black square, and the other dashed with 4 lines, 2 vertical, 2 horizontal. I was close to the example, but not quite. We learned how to complete each Challenge, and that there were many ways to do so. For "Checkerboard Madness," the last quest I completed, we learned multiple different ways to complete one image. A person in our class was able to creatively find a way even faster than the videos by clicking and dragging the two diagonal 1x1 squares into the color selection square, creating a pattern. I found this highly interesting, and I hope to be able to use it in the future. The videos were also very helpful, and interesting, as I never knew how to do certain things in the video, like duplicating multiple things at once. For my fails this week, I was tardy one day because I slept in (Wednesday). For my victories this week, I was able to finish all these amazing quests and my gravatar image. (WOOT WOOT, LEVEL 32!)

WATCHER WEEK 15
Week 15 In Review: This week, I completed 7 Quests! The Our Experiment quest, MLM Design Guide Primer quest, First Semester Grades quest, The Pattern Brushes Quest, the Adobe App Help quest, the Shaper tool Primer, and Font Design Primer quest. For the Our Experiment quest, we learned that we could accomplish a commercial art foundary while doing what we love: Creating Art. For the MLM Design Guide Primer quest, we learned that we could create beautiful and stunning fonts, backgrounds, Patterns, and Photographs with our creativity and patience. For the First Semester Grades quest, we were showed that our grades could go up or down depending on how we wrote in our DPE's and what our actions were in class. For the Pattern Brushes Quest, Teela from "Every-Tuesday" showed us that we could create Pattern Brushes from objects in Illustrator. I enjoyed this, and my image below shows my Wreaths that I made with this tutorial. For the Adobe App Help quest, we learned about the "Help" button. Whether we are in Illustrator or Photoshop, Apple has websites and tutorials in this small Help Button that can help us to create patterns and complex images. For the Shaper tool Primer quest, we learned that the Apple help button could show us how to create "Beautiful Vector art," and that we could use the Help button to show us how to get creative with certain projects and build onto our other ideas for MLM. For the Font Design Primer quest, we learned that we could create extreme fonts and digitize our handwritten letters into Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop (Other Font creating websites) for Mac Lab Media. For my fails this week, I clicked Early Bird, but it didn't save since I didn't log in one day this week. For another fail this week, I had to rewrite this DPE in full since I accidentially clicked publish, and the DPE refreshed the page without saving. For my victories this week, I enjoyed making the wreaths and I hope to make fonts in the future. ( Still thinking about the fonts )
Self Assessment: This week for my Self Assessment, I have earned an A for clearly documenting my work with no Reapers Rewards, 4 or more Bell to Bells, No gateway Violations and No Homework Passes.
Self Guided Learning: Aside from using Mr. Skocko's videos, I used Teela's "Every-Tuesday" website, linked here:
https://every-tuesday.com/.
Short Term Goal: Next Week, I hope to possibly learn to create my own Font Designs for MLM. In the past week, I succeeded my goal of creating a cool, intriguing Gravatar image.
Long Term Goal: By the End of the Year, I would love to have learned how to create striking images, Font Designs, and background images for my computer that I can enjoy making in the future. I believe I will learn new and exciting things, and that the videos provided on the Mac Lab will help me take a stride towards my creativity.

WATCHER WEEK 16
Week 16 In Review: This week, I completed 4 main quests. These 4 quests were the "Curvature Tool Primer" quest, the "Hot Dogs in Space" quest, the "Text in Spark" quest, and the "Cheat Sheet" quests, part 1, 2 and 3. For the "Curvature Tool Primer" quest, we were introduced into a new tool that allows us to create Curved Lines attatched to points. If we double click the point, it turns the line to a sharp edge. I found this tool amazing and I was able to create an outline of the Target Dog mascot. For the "Hot Dogs in Space" quest, we were showed a beautiful image created by Nina Geometra. She showed us a tutorial on how she created this stunning space image, but I sadly could not understand how to create the inner curves verses the outer curves. Maybe Next week I can figure out how to create the Inner curves. For the "Text in Spark" quest, we used a website called spark.adobe, and we were able to create our own inspirational quotes. This was enjoyable for me as I was able to turn some of my thoughts into quotes. An example of one of my quotes is: "What you see in the mirror is what you are on the outside, not what you could be on the inside." For the "Cheat Sheet" quest, we took notes on an image Mr. Skocko had us create, step by step. There is a link here that shows my intense note taking skills: Cheat Sheet Page. For my Fails this week, I didn't figure out how to create the Inner Curves of the "Hot Dogs in Space" quest. For my Victories this week, I took detailed notes, completed all the required quests, and created some inspirational quotes. Plus... LEVEL 35! WOOT WOOT!
Self Assessment: This week for my Self Assessment, I have earned an A for clearly documenting my work with no Reapers Rewards, 4 or more Bell to Bells (5 Bell to Bells), No gateway Violations and No Homework Passes. I completed all the neccesary required quests and all the optional quests, and I feel that I understand the steps and tutorials.
Self Guided Learning: Aside from using Mr. Skocko's videos, I used https://medium.com/@geometrieva/tutorial-for-that-space-illustration-you-keep-seeing-around-9c97214b4d92#.z960dsgdl , https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/how-to/draw-edit-curves.html , https://spark.adobe.com/ and my Cheat Sheet Page.
Short Term Goal: Next week, I hope to continue to thrive in the Mac Lab and complete more of my Cheat Sheet so I can remember what I learn in here for years.
Long Term Goal: By the End of the Year, I would love to have learned how to create striking images, Font Designs, and background images for my computer that I can enjoy making in the future. I believe I will learn new and exciting things, and that the videos provided on the Mac Lab will help me take a stride towards my creativity. The Mac Lab has been a fantastic experience for me this Semester, and I hope to continue to enjoy this class as I further open my creative eye.

WATCHER WEEK 17
Week 17 In Review: This week, I expressed my creativity through 2 main quests. These two quests, "Tool Time" and "Panel Power" helped me to explore Adobe Illustrator with full ability to create whatever I wanted with the hidden tools. Panel Power taught us to not let our eyes decieve us, and to explore the "Hidden tools" behind the original tool by clicking and holding the arrow on a tool. With this, I was able to create my "Starry Wonders" image, my "Circle Outlines" image, my "Width tools" image, and my "Crossed Stars" image. The "Starry Wonders" image was created by using the extra star creation tool and the elipse tool located in the Rectangle tool arrow file. While creating this, I found that I could click where a star would go, and it would bring the option to make a star with more than 5 points. I used this to create a space-like look in the image to really bring it to life. I also found the information on how to quickly create stars by my friend (at seat 06). Click and drag how you would normally create a star, and you can create tons of stars in under a minute. For my "Circle Outlines" image, I created an elipse that had a gradient of all the colors of the rainbow, then using information from past videos, I dragged the rainbow elipse into the Outline section of the color panels to the left. (Forgot what it was called o_o) I discovored that if I moved the new elipse with the outline of a circle, I could create different patterns. (As shown below) For my "Width Tools" image, I clicked and held the arrow in the Width Tool section, which gave me the options of a swirl tool, or a dagger like tool. I enjoyed this, though it made the computer a bit slow, and I was able to create some black- hole like images with the circle outline from the previous art. For the "Crossed Stars" image, I was able to use the knife tool found under the eraser panel, and cut slices into the stars arms. I worked on this until I found where I liked it, and then I created duplicates of the original "Crossed Star" image and stacked them onto eachother, widening the stroke. I saw that this created an icicle like image that I loved, and I placed it as one of my images below. (Second image) For my fails this week, I was not able to figure out how to freeze the circle outline into a shape I liked. For my victories this week, I created all these wonderful images and finished this DPE in a short period of time. (Badum-tsh).
